Sarah Jackson AKA “Ms. Sarah: Sarah is currently a junior at Grand Canyon University where she’s an outstanding student pursuing a degree in Marketing. Formerly the lead administrator for My Destiny Preschool, Sarah had a vision of building a place for children that provided parents with the confidence of their child being in a smaller and more intimate setting while ensuring they were exposed to a opportunities to build a strong educational foundation, one that would leave then set apart from the crowd as they prepared to transition to the primary grades. As one of 5 children, Sarah and her siblings all attended public school. As her family grew and she became and aunt, Sarah saw the difference between her and her siblings and her nieces and nephews, many of whom were home schooled. In every activity done at home, there was an opportunity for learning, while still allowing for a one on one connection to ensure that character traits such as kindness, empathy, generosity were given proper place in developing the whole child. As a co-founder of KODESH Academy, Sarah brings super enthusiasm, energy, stellar management and organizational skills to her role as the Site Director.
Lisa Amos AKA “Ms. Lisa”
Lisa Amos AKA “Ms. Lisa”: Lisa is a veteran educator with over 25 years of early childhood experience. In addition to being a credential center director, Lisa holds a Bachelors’ degree in Organizational Leadership and an MBA. Ms. Lisa’s initial career was as an HR executive. As she continued to elevate in her career of choice, Lisa wrestled with the reality that she was far less interested in making money than she was in making a difference. After getting her feet firmly planted in corporate America, Lisa, with her husband’s support, left it all behind in 1995 to embark on her second career in early childhood education. Getting her initial training at Paramount Studios working with the children of A-List celebrities, Lisa opened the first of 3 preschools in 2000. It wasn’t long after this that all her time, be it business or personal, transitioned totally to the non-profit arena. In 2006, she founded and still operates The Lighthouse, a non-profit organizations that address and tackles food disparities and childhood hunger. KODESH Academy is the culmination of her years of experience combined with her sincere belief that our children are the hope for our future. KODSESH Academy hopes to partner with parents to impart the foundational principals that will result in responsible, creative, loving and purpose driven people who are truly set apart.
